hey i was wondering if anyone has or could post a video of their gasifier (eko or tarm) showing the amount of smoke output during various stages of the startup just so I could see how bad these smoke on startup/.

No video, but during start up with the blower fan running mine is low smoke, right in to hot burn, then gasifacation. It never chugs along like a conventional wood stove or OWB. I start up with 5 /6 news paper pieces. 3 fat wood sticks and split wood directly on top of that.
