I've noticed recently on my 3 y.o. jotul 602 that there's been a little pile, maybe a tsp or so, of silvery dust from the gasket cement at the bottom corners of the joints. Vacuumed it off a couple times now, and more appears. I've been careful not to overfire the stove since I got it, never to my knowledge had the top temp into the scary end of the thermo. Also at this point I detect no leaks when running a lighter flame along the joints. I hope this is just coming from the excess cement that squeezed to the outside of the joint, rather than it disintegrating throughout. Anyone notice this on yours?
