Hi, Nice forum, I found it searching for a thermostat circuit board
for a Glowboy Pellet Stove model # HGBH2BD
I don't know the year, I got it used and had a little mishap when
the access panel door was opened and the small optional
circuit board measuring 2.5 inches long by 2 inches tall came into
contact with some metal and it arced, zapped, smoked and was
immediately removed.
The pellet stove works using the manual settings but when I've made
calls to places I'm being told Glowboy no longer is made and the only
part to replace this thermostat circuit board is now an Acutron digital control
board with "built in thermostat" for $421.08
This small one that fried, has the plug in part for the main wiring harness
I'm assuming, I used a wall thermostat with the wire hooked into a part
of the circuit board to help the house stay warm in the wee hours and would
sure love to find another one. (thermostat circuit board)
We heated soley (only heat source we had) for 8 years with an older wood
stove until we got the Glowboy pellet stove and it sure was nice having the
thermostat kick on when the house got cold after the wood stove fire burned out.
