greenwood 100 descaler soloution

so i have my greenwood 100 up and running after finding out that a line was plugged , after talking with a plummber he said i can add some descaler in the system. so down to home depot i go and find the descaler , i read the directions and realize how castic this stuff is. has anyone used a descaler solotion in there boiler system . please advise ,

I've never used it but a plumber friend of mine was telling me about it. I'd descale and then tie into the house system get rid flatplate and pressurize the boiler with the house system
