CT and SoVT
Today was install day! I had the day off and was up early. The two guy installation crew rolled up around 9:20. They left around 3:20. The stove was installed in a fireplace we haven't used in years. We've had the stove cranking on 5 (in manual mode) for awhile and it's in the low 70s on the lower level/mid 60s upstairs. Our house is a raised ranch.

Looking forward to installing the OEM t-stat this weekend. Future project is setting up a wifi t-stat.

My wife and I are really loving the way this stove looks. We burn wood at our weekend place in SoVT, so this is our first experience with pellets.

So happy it's in, had to have a Heady Topper. A little VT in CT.

Looking Good
Enjoy the heat:)

Beautiful stove - enjoy the heat. What clearance is spec'd in the owner's manual for the front? Think you may need to add some ember protection in front... Hopefully you have surge protection to protect your investment...

6" clearance in the front. I'm right at the edge of that. I have a stove board I picked up at Lowe's. What's everyone else using?

A little haze on the glass this morning. I ran it on three last night; manual mode. I started off with Oakie Golds. Switched to Freedom Fuel before bed.

Nice!! Looks like they installed a oak also!!

No OAK as of yet. I may look into that down the road.

It's been burning for about 24 hours as of now. I have a haze on the glass around the edges and creeping to the center. Is that normal? I haven't been running it wide open. I ran it at 5 for a few hours last night. Over night and today; mostly on 3 with a few hours on 2. I'm in manual mode.
