I have a new HeatnGlo Northstar fireplace in my new home.
The spring handles were separate from the door handles on the fireplace.
I have tried to install them on the door handles but am not having much success.

Is there a trick to the install?

The owners manual and the package the spring handles came in have no directions for installation.

Twist them on like a screw. If you need to put something on the handle like cooking spray to get it started. Once you get it going just keep screwing it on until the handle starts to come out the tight section of the spring. Don't crank it on too far because you will never get it off again.
