Ok, I went out to the garage this morning to fire up the PC45 and it made a ungodly amount of noise. Now the noise slowly subsided with its warming up and stopped totally when the ignition cycle ended. Was-is this just because the pump is very cold(32), or pump on its last legs and in need of rebuild? Anyone tackle the rebuild? I would rather fix now before it hatches out the ignitor.

My CPM and Fahrenheit have air pumps also.

The CPM is in my "Shop"/ other half of garage (separate). And gets COLD starts. Granted it is brand new.

Have you tried getting your garage warm and shutting it down and restarting while air is still warm?

That would eliminate a possible problem and point a finger to the cold air?
