I threw my propane contract in the trash . Prepay went up almost $1/gallon since last year. I filled up in May at the old price. I figure I can get 2 years out of this tank if I burn wood religiously.Put in a small wood stove for shoulder season burning so I don't have to fire the furnace and have all the windows open.

We decided to order a pellet stove before our budget plan arrived.
At that time oil was pushing $4.80!!
So, no we did not lock in.

We paid $2.69/gal last year. We had a "Cash" delivery of 100 gals a month ago.
$453 for the delivery!! Most if not all dealers around here are adding on .35/gal
for insurance.(Lock in) Last year when it was an option, the oil prices did not go down.

The price around here is around $3.99 now.
Waiting for the dealer to call with an install date.
Waiting on word about pellets also.
84 here today so am not worried, yet.
