HeatFab and Imperial: Are they compatable ?

I am buying a HeatFab telescoping pipe. At the top I will have a Imperial brand adjustable elbow.
My question is will they be compatable ? The HeatFab is 22 ga. metal and the Imperial is 24 ga.
The HeatFab piece has a collar on top that looks large enought to accept the Imperial elbow.
Can you all let me know if it will work ??

I believe the UL listing of pipes only remains valid if the system is composed of components of the same brand.

Not sure if this only holds for class A rather than stove pipe.

If it holds, if shtf and your insurance figures out that that was not the case, they may refuse to pay out...
