This fireplace is in my mothers house. The fans are out. I need to identify and replace the fan and maybe fan switch on the bottom right. However, I am unsure how to get to either. The fans are on bottom sides, insert was installed in the late 80s.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not familiar with this unit, but it looks like the insert may need to be pulled to service the blower. That would be a good time to also see how this insert is setup. If it is a slammer insert (just pushed into the fireplace cavity with no flue hookup) then it would be an illegal install by today's code.
