My buddy just moved into a new place and it has a Grizzly wood insert. We got up in the attic and it looks like a complete brick chimney. We can’t find a mode# or anything on. Does it need firebrick, as it doesn’t have any? Thanks

The FP 30 freestanding stove / fireplace and other Grizzly Stoves had brick. I not only protects side walls, but increases firebox temp.

Are there openings behind the open doors for convected heat to exit? Any means for a blower? I don't see how this could be a radiant only appliance. It should have a double wall with air space to remove convected heat into the heated space.
