Help Identify Wood Stove?

    I procured this fireplace insert for free back around 2005. I gave it to my father, who is now considering selling it since he no longer lives in the house. I have no idea what it is worth, how old it is, or anything else about it. I looked around online and found nothing. I am hoping one of you can tell me a little about it. The stove has a plate on the side that reads "Manufactured by National Steelcrafters Inc. Gastonia, North Carolina Model:830, Serial No:10890". Thanks a ton!
