Have an opportunity to pick up this stove. Just wondering if anyone can help me ID it. Thanks in advance!

Here is the other photo that was sent. Not sure if this may help.

Looks a little like a vermont castings from years ago, just a guess . Maybe a UL plate underneath?

I'm going tomorrow to take a look at it and probably pick it up. I'll let you know what I find out.

So I went and saw the stove today and ended up picking it up. It turned out to be quite a bit newer than I thought. It's a Dovre model 400 and the tag states it was produced in October 1999. Aside from a bit of surface rust on the outside the stove looks to be in great shape. It was a lot heavier than I expected. The previous owner only used it on occasion for about 5 years. I'm hoping to get it cleaned up and painted and delivered to my buddies house as part of his wedding gift before they get back from their honeymoon. The only other thing will be to replace a few of the firebricks that had broken. Luckily the custom bricks that line the bottom are in great shape. Paint, 3 bricks, some new gasket and I think I should be good to go!

Thank you, I knew I had seen that stove before. This belongs in the main hearth forums, not a classic. Congrats. Dovre made good stoves. Quadrafire was their importer and the Isle Royale is actually a Dovre stove.
