Welcome to the Forum;
Cathedral doors were available as an option in '79 along with the old style flat top doors. 1980 had Cathedral doors only and bent corners instead of angle iron welded corners. Shields bottom and rear with UL tag on rear shield. (Model VI) A cheaper version was continued to be made in the old style like yours, so it could be one of those as well.
Before you think about baffle, what kind and size chimney? Insulated walls and ceiling? Ceiling height? This may be twice the heat you need for that small area. This can not go into a mobile home or factory built housing if that's what you have.

I got it while living in rosehill ks. The fire bricks are all good and the chimney is. Coming up and strategy up through the roof and the ceiling is 9ft and it is stick built. I wondered about it being to much but it is what I have with the funds being gwhat they are. And I was going g to build a block hearth a more bocks up the wall behind it gaped away from the wood wall they would act as a heat sink and I would not have to have it blazing all the time.
