It being Christmas, and with all of us here in the Boiler Room enjoying the challenges of designing/ building/ operating central heat, I was just reminded of the wonderful line and scene in the Jean Shepherd movie "A Christmas Story:"

"My old man was one of the most feared furnace fighters in Northern Indiana. " "In the heat of battle my father wove a tapestry of obscenities that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan. "
