That should work just fine. No heat in that area, just combustion air. The adapter from 4" to whatever size tubing you need might be the tricky part...
 
You will have to remove the exhaust flap (states it is built in) in that vent before using, otherwise no air can be drawn into the stove.That flap is used for dryer exhaust, not intake.
