I have the same style heater hooked up to my system. It works well, especially with my 1000 gallons of storage as a buffer.

I have an aqua stat that controls mine along with a switch.

The one thing you have to be very careful of is;

Absolutely make sure if heater lines are running your pump stays running. It will melt the pvc fittings enough to cause leaks.

You can install a flow switch so if the pool water is not flowing the boiler water stops.

Watch those pvc fittings, they are dwv. Usually Pressure fittings are used for pools.

I plan on doing a load at a time until it get to 80ish and then the solar cover should do it until I need to add water again. The well adds water at 45 degrees.
