How do I disconnect the stove from the pipe?

The section of pipe (about 2" long) attached to the stove has a little wiggle to it but I don't no how to disconnect it.

It's a Breckwell Big E.

Thanks

The vent's probably got some RTV silicone at the joint where it meets the stovbe exhaust pipe.
Wiggle-pull-wiggle-pull...
Basically work it back forth in & out..
It'll come off...

The stove or chimney manufacturer sometimes require screws at the point of attachment to the stove...

Check it out before you give yourself a hernia...

Man up. Twist and pull.

If you need to to ask, DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!

One of the reasons I asked is because, in a prior post, I listed the parts used by the installer and there was no Appliance Adaptor listed, which raised Eric's eyebrows. I'm assuming the short length of pipe (the one with wiggle room) that connects to the stove exhaust is the adaptor.

The adaptor slides over the output on the stove. This section of the stove is not 3" round, like the pipe, so the gaps are filled with a sealant.
So where is the actual air tight connection from stove to vent pipe?

Do I twist and pull the adaptor back towards the stove?

What about the sealant? Will I have to clean all the old sealant off and apply new sealant when i put it back together?

Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions.

A Dura Vent's Appliance Adapter fits very snug and does need silicone. just twist and pull.
