Ideal Steel in! Questions about clearances

My stove finally arrived in February. Just recently got in the house and trying to decide on one of two locations. Stove will fit in nicely with my interior only thing is there was an error on the door color so that will need correcting. We've placed it in the corner to see how if it fits. Plan on getting the heat shield to reduce back clearance to 6 inches. Side clearance is 16 inches. In its current location it is 16 inches to the wall on the right and 21 inches to window sill to the left. Would the window be a problem? We have honeycomb shades we drop at night -and those are about 21 inches to the closest point on stove. Looking for feedback. Of course the pictures will be removed.

As long as the blinds are beyond the required clearance to combustibles then you will be fine. No need to removed the pictures either..

It's is a gas fireplace. Which is going to be removed and is one of the two places I have to work with. With our layout I prefer stove in corner tho.

Out and up eh? Too bad you won't consider running up through the second floor. All vertical is superior for several reasons. The IS stove has been known to be draft sensitive and puke smoke out of the inlets into the room when draft is not great.

You do not need the rear heat shield for a corner install. Look at the manual.

Apparently I asked the wrong question , my husband was worried not about the glass but the vinyl window frame and warping.

anything that is further away than the listed required clearance to combustibles should be fine. Candles and ice cubes being the exception to this.

The sides of your stove even at full tilt boogie won't be too much for your window. Most of your heat will be coming from the top and front through the glass
