Yep, right in the living room!

I store my Ryobi in the shed, and it was froze up. Brought it in next to the stove to thaw out, and
once it thawed, figured why split outside and freeze my butt off.

I am replacing the floor and subfloor in the LR, so no harm.
3 yr elm rounds, all debarked outside. Very comfortable way to work wood.

And people wonder why I'm single? %-P
 
thats a good idea!... i could get the little one and split in the house in the winter!
 
My dad does the same thing! But he has one of those bottle jack logs splitters that has two handles one to pump fast and the other for when it get hard to pump. He's 76 and says its good exercise for him.
