Just started cleaning out ashes from the century CW 2500 from last week. Noticed the inner gasket is not sitting flush against the ceramic window. We don't hear any leak or smell from inside the chamber. Is it supposed to be like this?

BTW, as per previous posts, I used newspaper and ashes to clean the window, it works great! you guys are AWESOME!

It could just be the excess, non-captive side of the flat, glass gasket. If so, no big deal.

Looks like the glass gasket has worked its way out. Have you checked to see if the glass retainer bolts are tight?
