    Installing the stove half way into the fireplace seems like a good compromise. Last year I installed my stove flush with the fireplace (all the way in)
    and never complained about the heat output. However, this year I will adding a blower to improve heat circulation. You should consider a blower
    especially if you have an exterior wall chimney.

    Thanks. The chimney is interior, right in the center of the house.
