Purchased a Skytech 3301 P2 and will be arriving Thursday. Meanwhile I would like to setup the stove and put it in its final place with connections before the t-stat arrives so I don't have to move the unit at all, just in case space may get tight a bit.
On this unit I have to open the right side panel to get acess to the rear of the control panel board to connect the t-stat wires.
My question is, if I can place and connect a piece of t-stat wire that I have and leave it in place hanging out of the back of the stove a bit so I can just connect the transmitter box to this wire (connect to 2 wires and put some tape), OR just wait for the t-stat and connect transmitter wire directly to the control board (cleaner install, no tape used to connect wires, better overall?). %-P
