Internet Browsers

I have not tried Chrome,went for years on IE and then I tried Firefox and haven't looked back.

Have been using Chrome for about 6 months and like it, but don't really see much difference between Chrome, IE and Foxfire. Don't know anything bout the technical stuff on the browsers, or doin anything other than surfin and bookmarking favorites. Just kinda like the Chrome appearence.

I use Opera because I like the way it handles zooming web pages, the customizable 'search from address bar' feature, and a host of other built-in features. I use Chrome for Facebook so it's sandboxed off from my 'regular' browsing. I use IE probably twice a year when Opera comes across a web page that it can't render properly. I use Konqueror when I'm in BSD, Safari when I'm in OS X... at the end of the day, they're all basically the same. For whatever reason, I never got into Firefox though. Also, I've never found that they interfere with each other, and switching is mostly getting used to a slightly new interface.

Have used Firefox for years, trouble-free. IE is on the computer too. No issue with that.

I tried Chrome for a while and then went back to Firefox. It is easy to just install and run to see if you like it.

I to tried Chrome, just did not shine for me. Went back to firefox also.

I used Firefox for years on my PC and like it very much. I now use Safari, just because it came with my Mac. I like it just as much, and even more because I have a plug-in that blocks most ads. That is great!

I use Firefox for just that reason, (don't tell the webmaster). I can't stand surfing on any other browser now, with all those flashing banner ads everywhere, I don't know how anyone can use the internet with all that visual noise.

I've been using Chrome for a while now. Firefox before that. All the computer geeks I know told me not to use IE because it was more vulnerable to viruses. That may have changed in the newer versions. I am no computer expert though. I put most of my energy toward the efficient processing and burning of firewood and the tools I use to do that.

I mostly use Chrome for general use, and Firefox for some work stuff (proprietary software compatibility reasons). I think IE is the worst brwser out there.

The only problem I have with chrome is the shockwave plugin crashes sometimes.

Another vote for Firefox here. I tried IE again when I got the new computer but that didn't last. Loaded Firefox and happy again.

I actually use all three ( IE, google and firefox). Some web sites run better on each one. And with google, it seems lately, when I watch a clip, it will crash. I don't know if that is just my computer or what buty I have no problems with videos on firefox or IE...

ditched exploder years ago, went with mozilla and then firefox, but found after years every time I went to start it up I had to wait for it to load new stuff and then check the compatibility.
ditched firefox about a year ago and went to chrome, thought I would never go back to firefox (in fact never loaded it onto my new netbook) however I did finally load it on about a month ago, but only for the free Epub reader that you can add to it.
I still only use chrome for the web.
One nice feature is that you can load your bookmarks into your google account. Had our desktop crater and all I had to do was load chrome and log in to Gmail with the new PC and we had all the bookmarks back.
There are also a lot of features that work great with chrome and Gmail as well as other google programs.

Hey webbie, can you pull up stats about browser types making requests to the site (and if so, can you publish a basic count)? That would be mildly interesting.

I have chrome on one PC, Firefox on another and Safari at home .
I don't really find any one any better than another.
Kinda like driving different cars - good for a change to switch up.

My computer is old, 2003 and still going strong. But IE is slow on it, Firefox is much faster. Only tried Chrome for a short time and probably didn't give it much of a chance. Just like Firefox to much.

Firefox in Linux here. When I do run Win7, I use Firefox there too. Tried Chrome for a bit, but found it a bit goofy trying to find prefs.
Been using Firefox or Mozilla for a long time.

Been with the firefox for several years now. Was getting sick of the constant updates awhile back but that seems to have slowed down.
