    Just saw that the non-contact IR thermometers are on sale at Harbor Freight for $35. With a 20% off coupon, that's $27. Good price. I've used mine for 3 years without a problem.

    I just got one for around $24 with a coupon. Pretty cool little toy. SWMBO just gave me that look when I showed it to her. I shot her in the lips and told her she was hot, now it's not quite as dumb.
