I was wondering if it was OK to put my wood/coal furnace in my duct work? I have an aluminum main trunk and the 7" plastic ducting going to my vents. Will the furnace get to hot for this or will it be OK?

It's commonly done, though I'm not sure about the plastic ductwork.

I would just rather not have the duct work catch on fire or melt. I really do not know much about this furnace and how hot the air coming out of it will get. I think this furnace may be a little much for what I need to heat my home, although, it hasn't been very cold yet either.
