Greetings all! New guy here. I like to run my insert as a "primary heat source". I notice it arbitrarily shuts off after a period of time. I've been told that these inserts weren't designed for this, and if it's shutting down is a design feature, I'm OK with that. I can't find anything on this in the manual. Any insight into this? Thanks!

It should not shut down. It should run until the fuel supply has been exhausted, unless you are running it on a thermostat.
