Just installed the chimney tonight Can I start a fire yet?

I used furnace cement @ the stove about 3 hours ago and some caulk on the roof flashing about the same time.

Been lurking for a while, and since Pictures are a must around here...


I'll add that northline express was excellent, their videos, customer service, etc was amazing. Ordered last Thurs and the truck showed up this afternoon. Install in a ranch with trussed roof took about 3 hours from opening the boxes to cutting holes in the roof and drywall to being complete.

Also, why is the forum rotating my photo? It's upright when viewing it locally...

Just burn low for a bit to dry the moisture out of the furnace cement. Then rock and roll.
