hi, i have an older kerr titan boiler,i had a hvac person hook it up to my baseboard heat, the problem is its a 3 zone setup up 2 house zones and the garage is a dump zone, when one zone is calling for heat the other zones still have water running threw them, the garage zone is 40 degrees so its pulling the heat out of the boiler when that zone should not be circulating should there be check valves for each zone to stop flow to other zones or what do i have to do.if i shut the ball valves to the garage the boiler heats up nice and sleeps even with a zone calling but with the garage open it cant keep up
what i have is a 3 zone header with 3 taco pumps with a taco zone control unit,i think he plumbed it like an oil boiler
