Just spoke with a installer that said I should do several things when installing. Insulate, put a basket up top and fill with insulation, and seal it off, he spoke of flex vs solid pipe, 2 ft of insulation, and more. Can anyone give me things to ask and look for when doing the install on a Hampton HI1300? Two story home, going into a existing heatalator fireplace. Thanks...... oh, lots of wind in the fall.
