I don't have a Liberty, I have it's baby brother. The Endeavor will produce an overnight burn without trouble. I put a pipe damper in when I installed the stove but have never used it.

I was wondering when someone would ask that question and for that you get the prize as being a wide awake person. However I was recently up in New Hampshire's N.Conway area with wife taking in the beautiful foliage.Happen to check out a stove shop that had a Lopi Liberty burning away. The thing was kicking.I asked the saleman how was the stove at throwing heat with the fan off.He shut the fan down and the stove still emitted great heat which is meaningful in a power outage.I love my Blaze king king however just like one dealer said and I agree without the fan the stove doesn't project the heat that well. That's not good if we have power outages so I'm looking at stoves that can get the job done without the use of a fan.The liberty looks like it can my only concern is can I get overnight heat from the stove .If not I'll keep looking or maybe I'll put the King in the cellar and bring the Mansfield up stairs. Now that's a lot of moving, whew.
I'm selling the woodstock classic if anyone is interested.Used one season.

Which style Blaze King do you have? Isn't the Parlor and Classic models more of a radiant heater verses the convection Ultra? I think the side panels on the Ultra can be removed for more radiant heat which could be a good thing during power outages?

Last year I don't think my wood was good enough to need it. This year when it gets cold and the draft is crazy I'll probably need to give it a try.
