Hi
i'm still thinking if i should go with selkirk DT or ICC for my new installation.

I have used ICC before in my previous house and it is a great product. The main reason i would go for selkirk is the look. Inside and outside the house.
Anyway my question is :

One thing i find confusing is the minimum distance of the termination of the vent outside.
I've been told almost everywhere i went that in Canada, it should be a minimum of 12 inches from the side of the building.
In the ICC catalog, they say i can put the beginning of the horizontal cap at a 6 inches minimum from the building.

which one is correct ??

also, is it possible to have ICC pipe in stainless instead of galvalume exterior?

Thanks

The figure will need to be located from your local building department at city hall/etc. Every locale has different code.
