Here is the original thread I started on the drying progress of my first stack of wood:
    Wood Drying Opinions

Today I worked my way down into the middle of the other stack I have in my wood shed, and found very different results. This time the moisture content in the center of of 3 splits from this other stack is 35% - 40%.

The stack I referenced in my original thread, and the stack I'm referencing in this thread were delivered to me at the same time. I'm guessing the splits I pulled from the first stack must have already been somewhat dry when they delivered it, and I got lucky finding those buried in the middle of the that stack.
