In The Woods
This is a picture(s) of the clouds coming in from the midwest (Savs place) this morning, looked nice then the thunder & lightning started which was followed by some heavy rain.

The cold front should be coming in this afternoon. With the expected cold weather & possible rains coming in we decided to top cover most of this years wood last night before supper.

Problem is Zap that we are not getting any rain here. We are really dry; almost to the point we were in early August when we went many weeks without rain. Maybe it will start and not stop during hunting season...

Nasty looking clouds.

BWS: When does hunting season start there. Ours is almost done. (Ends Sept 20) Rainy season, but not as bad as some years.

We had a quick storm go through tonight, lightning seemed to hit close by. Made a sound inside the house I never heard before, did some quick checking of household appliances which seem to be fine.

Sweet shots Zap. Looks like we have some Fall weather coming our way. No complaints here.

I agree with you on the weather Solar, the wife was asking when we will have another fire. Depending on the weather today we will push some poof wood in (quaking aspen) for the shoulder season.

Dave, there is an early doe season that starts in a couple days and that is followed by an early youth hunt. Basic archery deer begins Oct. 1. Rifle deer begins Nov. !5. Small game starts tomorrow.
