SMWilliamson!

So I'm strolling through my local Home Depot, I had to pick up a few outlets for a job and I figured that while I'm there I'd check out the stoves, and see what they're carrying for pellets this year. I walked up to the 2 Englander pellets they had and began to inspect/dismantle when, to my surprise, there sat in the burn pot.......A business card for Mr Williamson! You my friend, unlike Forrest Gump, are a smart Man!

P.S. I saw the ones in the hoppers as well!

P.P.S. I took one so you may need to replenish.

Gorilla tactics my friend. Hahaha. Now you see what I do all day. When I'm not working on one I'm searching for the next one. Which store were you at? I'll hit it later today.

Well, typically, it means "Single White Male", and is followed by "looking for...", then something about long walks on the beach at sunset or other such. :) Rick

or other such....my dad talks like that too. Do you say sides by each instead of side by side?

SWM4SWF, BFF, I LOVE quiet walks on the beach, good books, hanging out, afternoon naps *cuddle*, chick flix, dinner parties, good friends, martini's not beer, depeche mode not ac/dc, empathy not ego...holy crap...I'm ***! Not that there is anything wrong with it.

Well, not routinely. But in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, I learned to use "couple" to mean something like "and probably a few more". I asked a guy I came to know there who raised cattle for market how many he had, and he responded, "Oh, forty couple." So, I said, "Wow, you have eighty cows?", and he replied, "No, I mean I had about forty or so yesterday afternoon, but this is the season, so I really don't know how many I'll have by this evening." I really liked that, so I use it every chance I get. Actually, I don't get more than about 3 couple chances a month. My dad said "warsh" for wash, and "crick" for creek", and used the phrase "couple or three" a lot (as do I). I think it's fascinating the way people talk and the idioms they use. Rick

SMW you need to one up it like we did. I sell pellets to my competitors. We under cut the place they purchased them from and picked up three hardware stores that now buy pellets from us and resell them. I like your idea of cards in the stoves though I might need to visit the local Home Depot and Lowes.
