    'tis a noble pile.

    And I like your handle. My wife is pregnant and we call the baby "the chap." Once she's born she'll get a human name but for now she's our sweet little chap.

    Sounds like you read the Gunslinger series. Only place I have heard of a baby being referred to as "chap".
