Hi all! New to the forums but not to burning.

I currently have a Pacific Energy T-20 stove that the blower is starting to make bearing noise and seem to be having a very difficult time finding a replacement. Does anyone know if there is a generic replacement that fits? or could be modified to fit?

Thanks in advance!

Did you mean the TN-20? Have you cleaned the blower completely and tried to lubricate the bearing?

I do not know if this will apply, but here is a tip. Some chainsaw noses have a little hole in them. The hole is to grease the sprocket. There is a special grease gun for this purpose. If you have a sealed bearing in the blower motor, and you cannot get it apart to grease it, look for a spot where you can drill a small hole. Quite often this can be done in an end cap. Then use a chainsaw sprocket grease gun to pump it full.

You’re correct the stove is a TN-20. Usually take apart, clean and lube 2X a season. This is the 7th year with this stove, figured it’d be prudent to at least have a spare on hand in the event it went during peak heating season.

thanks for the tip MTY!

Have you called around to PA True North dealers?

Tried the dealer search, there apparently isn't one anywhere in the tri state area. Nearest distributor is in SC and knows nothing.

That doesn't sound right. I get several.

That is odd. I just switched to Safari and it worked for me. Perhaps because I have Flash installed? Maybe try it on your phone?

I copy/pasted the list for you.
