Hi - I'm building a new home and my architect has designed an alcove off the living room for the woodstove. The alcove is 30" deep and about 8 ft wide. I'd like to have a modern looking woodstove with a blower and it looks like I have only a few options. The Osburn Inspire and the Legacy Novo. Does anyone have any other recommendations? The home will be about 2100 sq ft.

Stuv 16-68 might work, depending on how well insulated the home is, glass exposure, and how high the ceilings are. Stuv makes the larger 16-78 cube, but it might need to be imported from Canada.

Be sure your architect is aware of the clearance parameters (both horizontal and vertical) required by the stove being installed.
I would exceed those clearance's, so I had the option for a stove replacement in the future that may need more clearance.
A thought to consider.
