New setup put to the test

Well, it's our second year burning with the stove and last year the basement was way too chilly. We upgraded our windows and doors and installed wireless baseboard heaters for the basement that can be programmed for a schedule (instead of the kids cranking them and roasting the rooms when nobody's home).
Last night was -38*C with wind and the house was great! Upstairs toasty from stove, basement just right. Happy.
And thanks to the info here about pointing the fan toward the stove the bedrooms felt just fine upstairs.
Now hopefully the van starts.
 
Brrr. At -38::C I don't think I would start.
 
Dang. That is cold.
