I'm installing a Hearthstone stove with Excell stove pipe. Where the pipe goes through the wall there is a radiation shield that has the 2" spacing all around from combustibles. There is dead air space there & also where the flu pipe goes through the radiation shield there is about 1/2" spacing all around between the two. Can I fill this space with high temp insulation to stop cold air from getting in.
