I have an old kitchen stove - "New Wyoming" is the model - made by the Pittston Stove company - Pittston, PA. My house was built in 1925 and my guess is it is original to the house or soon thereafter.
It has a relatively small burn box in the upper left of stove and a 6" vent pipe on top of the stove in the back of stove...

I am wondering if I can burn wood in this unit, or if it was made exclusively for coal?

    Many thanks -
