It took and cost alot more to build than I thought it would.............
 
Looks good. I saw something similar in the Northern Tool catalog the other day that I thought about building with my new welder and leaving it by my wood "landing".
 
Very nice workmanship Woodman. Back in the bronze age I used a sawbuck but the constant bending over and lifting was hard on the back. Been carefully tip cutting limbs for 25+ years...got this sweet back friendly ergonomic move I can make good limb production with.
 
Thanks savage. Didn't know how much of an asset a cuting rack like this is until I started using the one my uncle built 25 years ago and fell outta the truck and broke beyond salvage. I hear ya on the lifting part and if the specimen in question is too big and heavy I'll whittle it down on the terra firma...............
