Oiling/greasing air control?

    Craig, you might be able to answer this one since you sold Avalons.

    My air control lever (rod?) seems to be getting harder to push in and out this year. Is there a non-flamable grease or oil that I could use to lubricate the rod?

    I see nothing in the owners manual about it so I thought I could get an answer from the experts.

    Maybe try some powdered graphite. Apply with steel wool.
