We have a solid old Conestoga wood burning insert in our fireplace. We know nothing about it and it does not have a fan. It should be able to heat our house with its large firebox but without a fan it barely heats the livingroom. We tried a fan last year, but the high heat just melted out the wiring. We need to find the fan that fits into the side pocket and then blows air back out the top of the other side of the stove. There are no screw holes for mounting the motor. Also there are a bunch of steel tubes at the top of the stove that we are not sure of their purpose.Anyone know about this stove or where we can get information about it?
