I've used Google and this site's search button but haven't found much, so here goes.

I was looking for some information about my inherited Olympic 251 Automatic. My dad bought it ages ago and since he passed away a few years back, it's nice to have it around. But I got to say I have no information about it.

"251" means a 50cc engine?
"Automatic" because a woman can run it? Couldn't resist.

From what I found out the oily bottom is inherent to the design of the case and not worth fixing, but I did find a site with parts if need be.

Thanks in advance.

Awesome! Thanks.

I did see something that's different. My gas/oil cap has 20:1 stamped right on it. That site calls for a 40:1 ratio.

Super. What kind of chain/bar is on the 251 pictured on that site?

Answered my own question - a bow bar. Anyone use these?
