Will Osage cut and split in March be ready for burning this fall 08 and winter 09?

I have split some of the Osage for next year.

It is heavy wood and has a light sap type liquid comes from it. We will be getting a couple cords of it.

Will this summer be enough to season it for burning late this year?

I had a couple of loads of osage that I split about 9 months before this burning season it could have used a little more time, I still got some hissing from it while burning.....even wet it still does burn hot though
