I recently purchased an old jamestown j1000. I want to vent it into my fireplace chimney that has been relined previously with a 5" stainless liner. My manual says that either stainless or galvanized pipe can be used to line the chimney. Can I just connect 4" galvanized stove pipe from the pellet stove to the liner or must I use pellet vent pipe to make the connection?
