Does anyone know if I can I connect the Pellet stove exhaust pipe into my wood stove chimney? I'd hate to have to patch the hole in the wall only to make another one.

Thanks, thats good to know it can be done. One question, do they make an adapter to connect the 3" pellet stove pipe into the 6" metalbestos?

Thanks, it just so happens I am using Selkirk pipe. Now I just need to decide on whether or not to gamble with pellets being available before buying a stove!

probably some reassurance would be that there are other pellets users in your neck of the woods....or the nearest source for pellets(pellet mill). If it really is a problem, maybe you can hook up with some other users, band together, get some shipped. The cost of shipping would be a downer if any great distance.

How far into the 6" would you recommend going? Do you think i could seal the space between the 3" and 6" with fiberglass insulation?
