pellet stove: igniter issues

Very frequently I have to unplug my pellet stove in order for the igniter to work after I plug it back in. (it flashes 4 times to indicate igniter issue is reason it won't start. after unplugging for 10 seconds, it fires right up.)

I have a new igniter and thoroughly cleaned all of the ducts.

Is it something faulty on the "motherboard" that it needs reboot to ignite properly?

Check the compartment under the fire pot , if that is full of ash it can hamper ignition too.
