How long will my pipes last, from stove to Cap? Put a face on the life expectancy of the piping for me. Especially the piping exposed to "outside." I have a fairly straight up system, except for a brief angle in the attic, to miss the center beam of the rafters (called the "Stringer?"). It's all that double-wall insulated piping. (Class 6??).

Figure I'll get 20 years outa the current setup??

It's not always an age thing . . . I can't tell you how often I've told the same story, asked the same question, etc. . . . then again my wife says I may have early on-set Alzheimers.
